Hmm no idea, should be easy if the front bumper is from the car originally, i mean the car was sold like that and nobody tunned it, but i dont know or cant recall any car now with such bumper and a rear spoiler hmm

atom sure knows Volvo he is the winner. I did not mean to interfere with any other games, but I wanted to announce my new baby in some interesting way
So here it is
1996 Volvo 850 R
2319 ccm Turbocharged inline 5 cylinder
producing 184 kW = 250 BHP at 5400 rpm and 350 Nm at 2400 rpm
5 speed manual transmission.
0-100 km/h in 6,9 sec.
V-max 250 km/h
Colour - dark grey metallic
Fully loaded except roof window - 2-zone automatic A/C, sporty seats in combination of leather and Alcantara Leather, electric-operated front seats with memory for both (sic!) driver and passenger etc. etc.
And yes, those spoilers are original from factory - the front one is similar to T5-R, but the rear one is special just for 850R sedan.
Car is currently in service, as it has some minor faults, but is mine (paid) and I hope it will home soon Only thing, that it misses are the original 17" Volans rims.. I hope I will find those till summer
So I am very happy with my new Volvo + still driving the old one
So 2 Volvos for a while again
here are some photos - I did not have much time, so I made only a few, once it will be home I will make some better ones
yay.
Oh, and her name is Nelly

Great! Isn't it too expensive in taxes, fuel, etc.? I guess that as everyday car you'll keep the other one...

the badge is not missing, it fell off partly, so the owner took it away (I have it ad plan to stick it back on). Unfortunately I can not afford to have both Volvos, so this one will be my daily ride. Taxes are the same with the previous one (as they are calculated from engine size, and this one is even smaller - 2319 ccm vs. 2435 ccm.) Fuel consumption will be worse, but I believe I will handle it somehow

For fuel consumption, as long as you do not use the turbo (i.e. drive on low rpm and do not press the pedal too hardly) I guess it would not eat that much...

exactly - turbo starts at about 2500 rpm and in city traffic there is almost no need to give so much gas. Also now I often change gears at 2000 rpm..

A very special congrats from me!!! I like it ... it has a spoiler (I love a car with a proper spoiler ... )
Regarding the "Inline 5 with Turbocharger" – I bet it sounds sweet!!!
Can you hear the turbo whistle wind up? (I ask because some turbos can be quiet natured) I love the prominent sound of a Turbocharger and Supercharger ...
What do the 17” Volan wheels look like ... ???

nope, those are some crappy wheels mounted for the winter. previous owner bought it on 16" Perfo wheels - they look like this:
they are originally for S70 and V70 T5.. 850R is supposed to have 17" Volans like this:
they are quite expensive and hard to get, but I will try to find them somewhere

those are Pegasus rims from S60R - available in 17" and 18".. they look pretty same to the 17" Titan wheels from T5-R, but I like to have the original ones for 850R anyway
