What appears to be an Australian-spec 1958 Ford Customline convertible (1955 Meteor grille + 1956 Meteor side trim; see http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_652506-Ford-Customline-1958.html ) on a box of candy in an upscale grocery store, except that the '58 Customline was not offered as a convertible:

And last, a picture I've been wanting to get ever since I got my Cougar:

Nice, reminds me of the old LeCar ad where it's parked next to a 1976 Caddy Eldorado, to show how parkable it was.

Very nice indeed. Alpine S5 - 19,000 made from Oct 65 to start 68. Alpines/Tigers always look best with alloys like these.

After blood pressure and mental condition went back to the normal level, I spotted a Tesla Roadster

The 162 is quite rare, I suppose. And sporty, I couldn't keep pace with my K 70.

[...] Grille (and part below it) is very similar to old Land Cruiser: http://www.toyota-global.com/showroom/vehicle_heritage/landcruiser/collection/model_40_1.html
but seems a bit more squared...

I eventually met the guy: the basis is indeed a 1979 BJ40. The body is made with an epoxy-based resin and will be molded in aluminium later. Still to be done: the windshield and the roof.
The chassis hasn't been changed, and neither has the engine, so the owner claims that it's street legal. But for now, I just wonder where the blinkers are hidden

Are these mandatory anyway? There are many BMWs and Audis that do not seem to have such item

Belgium has that problem too?

Not actually one of the 10s of thousands of Sunderland-built Nissan Micras but a Japanese spec Nissan March (supposedly imported to the UK last year). Why go to the effort and expense of shipping one to Britain when you could just have a Micra for less than the cost of shipping?

to feel different,unique. :halalala:

i see some RHD Nissan 300ZX ( or Fairlady ), Toyota Supra, Honda CRX or Toyota Soarer sometimes here while their NA counterparts are available, costing less but " so common " since they are LHD. i can understand if the vehicle is not in sale in the country ( saw a Toyota Sera here about 2 years ago )or have major differences between markets,it gives some kind of exclusivity but when the same vehicle is available in your country its kind of non-sense to me.
Of course, since a JDM car has the steering wheel on the same side as the UK and that its counterpart is available, makes that kind of purchase almost useless or at least a little weird.

but there is weird people all around the world....

sorry if its not well written , it was looking better in french in my head than in english on the screen :timide:
