In the identification on imcdb the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 1995-2006's often put the index T1N. It is known that under this definition fit body W901, W902, W903, W904 and W905. The question is whether can we put a body type, if we know the model? For example, for 308 CDI - it W903. http://merc.com.ua/mercedes-benz/model/sprinter-w901-w902-w903-w904-w905

No idea about the Sprinter, but about the VW LT I know, that the model-code and chassis-code depends on the body/chassis, not just on the engine. So there were different chassis-codes for complete bodied vehicles and plain chassis with just the driver-cab. And for the versions with plain chassis there were more differences, depending, where the VW-made body ends
- plain chassis with engine
- with grille and headlights
- with engine hood
- with frontscreen
- with frontscreen, roof and front doors
- with complete cab with open back
- with complete, closed cab
...

The Sprinter on your pic was in its first life a parcel-transporter of the Deutsche Post, the German postal service, clearly identifyable by the colour.
The bodywork is not made by Mercedes Benz, AFAIK it's from the company Kögel from Ulm.
I don't know, how the basis chassis were delivered by Mercedes Benz to Kögel, I suppose as chassis with doors, frontscreen, but without roof and with open back.

What's the police car there at 1:01?

Other fragments from the same movie at 0:40-0:46, 0:59-1:03.

Not necessarily a DHL car, other companies also use yellow cars.

But the interior is for a package delivery car, thats for sure. And that in mind, its very likely to be a DHL car.

Could it be a Datsun Bluebird 310 or 311?

No, the Deutsche Post/DHL-yellow is unique. That unique, that you cannot legally purchase this tone as paintwork. No kidding, the Deutsche Post has a patent on it.

The Opel GT was sold in America (USA and CDN) in quite large numbers. Actually the most GT's went to there. And many came back years later. Nowadays our European classic car events are cluttered up not just with US-spec Porsche 914, Mercedes Pagoda, W107, Austin Healey 3000, Karmann-Ghia, Porsche 911 -at least EVERY sporty European car of the 50ies, 60ies and 70ies (plus premium Sedans an all kind of Convertibles)- also with US-spec Opel GT.

Thanks for the precisions Ingo.

maybe i saw some as a kid but i don't remember them and since you're saying that a bunch of them got back in Europe means there is less here ( wow, i feel like a mathematics genius now  ). Seriously , maybe its why i have the impression that i see it for the first time. Sure wondering now where are the ones that did stayed in America.

By " not sold here " i meant since since the 80's . I learned here that Opel did sold cars under their own name in America but they must be rare now because this one is the only one i remember.

Hey, can anybody tell what car this bumper used to be attached to? For some reason, I've been leaning towards a Pontiac from the 1990's or 2000's.

Yours looks shiny black, might be an higher 4-door trim level or a Suzuki Vitara
