Saw a beige 1982 Daihatsu Charmant on my weekend-canoeing-trip to Moss. Seeing it has made me look for one to buy
pity I didn't get a picture of it.

I saw this in town yesterday, unfortunately I don't remember what the badge on it said. Anyone know what it is?

Maybe a Peraves Ecomobile?

Oh yes, now I remember that the badge said "Monotracer", so it is indeed a Peraves: http://monotracer.peraves.ch/

I nearly forgot: at our club-meeting, when we made a round-trip in that area, there was a convertible in the oncoming traffic with US plates, from Virginia, as I could see. The traffic was busy, the street was curvy and I've talked with my 7-year-old godson, so I couldn't identify the car. No Corvette, Firebird or Camaro, maybe a Celica Supra or so.

While waiting for the bus earlier today, I spotted a 1980-85 Cadillac Seville, a first series Jaguar XJ6 and a 1929 Ford Model A "beater".

What a shame, to own a Lotus Exige S and to sit in in rush hour traffic like everyone else

Adding to the list of special SUV's I've never seen except in magazines and on the web before, I saw a UAZ Patriot today, and a Chrysler Pacifica yesterday. Also managed to spot a Porsche 996 Turbo, two Chevy Corvette C5s and a Ferrari F355. People seem to be taking the nice cars out now, I see exotics nearly every day. Could be I just haven't paid as much attention to the cars driving around town up until now though...

The Lotus Exige is another car I really don't think I could fit in. But in any case, on April 22, 2010 I saw three Ford GT's in a row. In fact tonight is another classic car show, so I think I'll go to it after I post these GT's, despite the fact that it was so dark.

Today I've saw a Ford Transit with a strange plate: X 6615. It had the D sticker on the tailgate but not on the plate, if it hadn't that sticker I didn't know that was German, strange that it hadn't the blue strip on the plate with the D like the new European plates

I think it's a plate for German personnel at NATO headquarters:

Last week I visited the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona, which is frankly an awesome destination for any fan of aircraft! But aside from all the planes, helicopters, etc, they also had a few old airport fire trucks over in one corner:
While in Arizona I also saw many visiting Mexican cars on the roads: several Nissan Tiida, Tsuru, and March; Toyota Hilux; and an early 70s Buick Regal with non-US bumper overriders.

Gag is right. It's from Bundeswehr-vehicles, stationated at NATO-headquarters. As the "Y"-plates for the Bundeswehr http://i.auto-bild.de/ir_img/59446204_d7069502ce.jpg (here the X-plate is a fake) still the only German plate, made with the old DIN-font and with non-reflecting background.
Something extreme hyperrare for the collectors, as not officially and legally to get. The most freaks don't have one. I do, even with the registration-sticker on
Bought from a Dutch collector, who has connections to someone, who knows someone... It's not for sale, but offered for swapping. The interest in the scene is very big - but they have to offer me that, what I am keen on. If not, it will stay under the desk for eternity
I will only swap it with a http://www.kennzeichen-guide.de/sammlung/ddr_cd61-28rot-sa.jpg or a http://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqF,!hcE1iIvgPizBNcmidVgVw~~_35.JPG - but only from a West German, Code 57, IIRC.So the fellows have to strain theirselves...

Today at an ASDA supermarket I parked behind a Mercedes SLK230 [R170] with a Kuwait plate (I live in England, in case you didn't know). And when I got back to the car there was a black Ferrari F430 parked across two spaces opposite (don't blame him really, probably too wide to fit comfortably in a single space anyway) and the way home I saw a Lamborghini Gallardo. Unfortunately the camera in my phone is a bit rubbish so I didn't bother taking pictures (would have to buy a special lead to put them on my computer anyway)

You've got an International Harvester Loadstar from the 1970's and a 1968 Chevrolet C-30 there. But as for Chevy's, here's that 1973 C-10 Custom Camper Special that I've mentioned.

Very nice plate though, I wish we had personal plates also in Italy
