This Alfa was nice:

But nothing compared to the loveliness of British Leyland's most reliable car: http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb428/JohnSandie/P7200090_1.jpg

We had russian cars, czech cars, polish cars, DDR cars, our own cars, western cars and even american cars: http://volganeagra.blogspot.ro/2012/06/chevrolet-impala-in-romania-1967-2007.html (the article is written in romanian and english).

In this photo, we can see:

In the front, from left to right: VW Beetle, Dacia 1300, Citroen DS (or ID?).

In the back, from left to right: Mercedes W110, Austin Mini, an american (?) car, VW 1600, Fiat 124 Special second series and two other american (?) cars. Also two other VW Beetle, two M461 and some other cars.

Can someone identify the unidentified cars?

Next to Mini is Toyota Crown, the American cars behind the Citroen are Chevy Nova (IMO) and Camaro.

saw this EU Spec (I guess as it wasn't US Spec) Dodge Journey with UK plates today at a local service station getting its Virginia Safety Inspection (after some modifications it did pass)

That is strange, 2011 reg (the Journey was dropped here in 2010), square rear plate and according to the DVLA it has a 3.5 V6 engine that wasn't sold in the UK. So it isn't UK spec either.

yeah it confused me as well, it is LHD and has square front and rear plates, at first I thought it was a US spec that the owners (military family) took with them to the UK and then brought back but it has KPH instrument cluster and non US headlights as well as rear foglamps and repeaters, which is why I thought it was EU spec.

Since this is a model I only know through imcdb, I was not expecting to see this in the grocery store checkout line!

Antp will be cross that I didn't have my camera today as I saw a nice Subaru SVX with a personalised plate with SVX on it.

The only vehicle-related pic today, from our trip to the Burgers Zoo Arnheim with my wife's little niece:

http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/4140/img1634m.th.jpg

The unknown brand has irritated me, so I made the pic. And now I see, that we only have listed four of this make in the database.

Yesterday I made plenty of more pics, from the big Unimog-meeting in my village. But now i'm too tired to upload them. Coming soon...

Very odd: this morning I saw annother Iseki, just here in the village, owned by a local horticulture-company. Two of the same -before absolutely unknown- brand within two days...

A few shots from the Unimog-meeting in my village last weekend.

At first something for the DVLA-checkers:

http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/8666/img1528xv.th.jpg http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/83/img1620d.th.jpg

Please note: in Germany the beer-trailer is an absolute must for events, bigger than a family party.
This number will not be found as active at DVLA, as this Unimog is owned by the organisator. But it came from Britain.
It's LHD, all original and selfmade badges inside are in English. The snow thrower is powered by a 180hp turbocharged Mercedes Benz OM 352-engine.

Former Belgian Army?

Answer to my question, what brand this camping trailer is: "It's something Dutch. For details you have to ask the owner. But not now. He's totally drunk and sleeps now inside."

Two of the last survivors (since 2004 it's not possible any more to convert Estates or SUV's into trucks, by closing the back side windows and removing the back seats and back seat-holders)

No, not a Montero

Lateef will may recognize this model. Maybe even the usual condition of car and loading...

Former Belgian Army?

Possible, but the plates are regular recent ones.
(non-army, non-oldtimer)
