Even has the woody sides. Reminds me of the old Hot Wheels Aries wagon that I have somewhere in storage.

wish i had a hot Wheels/Matchbox one ( i have over 900 but no K-Cars )
seen today : Chevy Tahoe/Yukon without exposed lugnuts, 1992-1993 Suburban ( or then K-Blazer ) face and GMC tailgate
the only thing they couldn't change was the lenght as the rear door wasn't straight like a Suburban

During the course of the year, I seen a vintage early-1980's Toyota Corolla Liftback at a Wal-Mart in Spring Hill, Florida, and some two-seater sports car in Brooksville from the 1970's that looks like something that was made into either a Matchbox or Hot Wheels car. It had a lot of primer on it, so I suppose it might've been undergoing some restoration. If I ever find that car at the spot I saw it at, I'm getting a picture of it no matter what.

Didn't they sell them in Canada? Strange that it was your first. I saw two today at Radwood NJ (the 80s-90s car show). It was a whole weekend at the racetrack with my first 24 Hours of LeMons as well. After I walked the Radwood show, I watched the racing, then walked over to the infield and got to see many of the racers up close being fixed to get back out to run. Overall a fun day! (I'll eventually get to pics!)
Some of the more interesting racers included a double Pacer body on top of something else, an Isuzu I-Mark coupe, a Volvo Bertone Coupe, a Sunbeam Rapier convertible, a 2nd gen AMC Javelin, an AMC Hornet, a Nissan Axxess, a 1974 Dodge Monaco and a Jaguar X-Type

the Elan had a MPH speedometer ( Europa was way too low for me to see.. ). i don't remember if they were sold here . They are in my book ( just checked and yes, there was a CDN price , so it should have been ) . Funny, my book says it was powered by the Isuzu Impulse XS engine and it was parked aside of one
two weeks ago there was a 1990 and a 1991 Chevy Lumina . its fun to see regular cars as you don't expect them to be present..
Innocenti i've seen a few but not with a De Tomaso logo
please tell me the Volvo and the AMC made it without major issues..

A Merkur, a US 405, a Buick Opel and a Sunbeam? That just makes my heart bleed.
And what the heck is that Hudson doing in that race?!

The 24 Hours of Lemons (used to be spelled LeMons until they were asked to change it) doesn't have restrictions on what kind of vehicles run, just that it costs less than $500. A lot of teams look for the most unusual or outrageous cars they can find. Most of the cars running in this race were BMW 3s, Miatas or Civics, but these were the more unusual ones there.

Wranglers are sold officially in Europe, but this guy preferred to have a US spec one:

I took a drive out to Central Eastern Florida back in June 2019, and I spotted this old motorhome in a Wal-Mart parking lot. It was a 1978 Dodge/Apollo Motor Home of some kind.
