Incorrect spelling/listing

I was looking through the list of Pontiac vehicle model names ( http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Pontiac.html ) when I noticed a bunch of mistakes. Instaed of writing a comment for every mistake, I tought I should just list them here, and when an admin. such as antp had some extra time he could fix them. Among the errors for Pontiac there are these:

1. There are 3 different spellings for "Parisienne" with P-A-R-I-S-I-E-N-N-E being the correct one.

2. There is a "Grand Am GT" listed as a seperate model, while the "GT" should just be part of the trim level and not show up in the model name

3. There are 2 different spellings of Bonneville, with B-O-N-N-E-V-I-L-L-E with two "L"'s being the correct one

4. Some wagons are listed as "Safari Wagon" some are simply "Safari" some are "Wagon" some are "Station Wagon" and some are "Grand Safari". If I am not mistaken, all Pontiac station wagons should be listed as simply "Safari" or "Grand Safari", as Pontiac called all of their station wagons one of these two names

5. There is a "Starchief" and a "Star Chief" with "Star Chief" being the correct one

6. There is a "J-2000" and a "J2000" with "J2000" being the correct one

I am sure there are many more mistakes like this for other makes, but this is all I could find for now. I may look for more mistakes in the future and I will list them here as I find them.

I've found some myself.

1)Three International Harvester Loadstar 1700's are misnamed "1700 Loadstar."
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-International+Harvester_model-1700+Loadstar.html

2)There are also three S-1900's that are mislabled "1900-S's".
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make=International+Harvester&model=1900 S&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on

3)Outside of I.H.C.'s there are plenty of Ford F-Series trucks from the 1950's that have single-digit designations before 1953, and triple-digit designations after 1952, both of which are incorrect.

This one,
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_123110-Ford-F-1-1954.html
is an F-100, not an F-1.

This one,
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_164306-Ford-F-100-1951.html
is a 1952 F-1, not a 1951 F-100.

The make Åkerman is listed under the letter A here: http://www.imcdb.org/makes.php

But it's correct here: http://www.imcdb.org/movie_323998-Smala-Sussie.html

You mean that it should be at the end of the list?
Actually the make list uses general latin sort, but vehicle sort uses mysql4 default sorting, which seems to be Swedish.
The problem is that there is no "European" sort to handle accents of various languages correctly together

Well since the "swedish"-alphabet ends in ...XYZÅÄÖ I think that Åkerman should be at the end.

Was the Ford "Continental" debacle ever resolved? Sorry I don't have time to search for them.

You mean if they are listed as Lincoln or not? Several sources only included Mark II under Continental make.

Right, but I don't know which year(s) that Cont. was a separate division from Lincoln. I assume the ones listed are correct, as our members can be quite knowledgeable!

I just noticed a 1970 Dodge Coronet listed as 'Cornet'. I mentioned the mistake on the car's page, because it seems you read all the posts on the main site and respond very quickly. In the future, should I put mistakes on the board instead?

If it is one small mistake like that, do as you prefer.
If you have a list of corrections or that many cars have same error, posting here is better.

In comments on the site, other admins may see it faster, but on the other hand if nobody sees it (it happens) it will be missed. Here on the forum as there as less stuff to read and that the info are separated in topics, I will probably not miss it.

Okay here are two others, and they should be merged. The Grumman-Flxible 870 ADB is listed incorrectly in most images. Flxible is not a model:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Grumman_model-Flxible+870+ADB.html

It's actually two manufacturers, and the 870 ADB is the model:

I just found a different pair of incorrect listings when I was searching through Lincoln Town Car Stretched Limousines:

One car with no type listing:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1838

And another listed as a sedan:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1566

They're both limousines, they should be classified as such.
