Well this certainly came out of nowhere!
It looks like a cross between the current Impala and an Audi A4.
I think it looks a bit ugly, but I see some promise if it's as powerful as they claim it to be. Also interesting how they're going to call it the Caprice PPV. I suppose that was influenced by the police Tahoe. I'll wait and hear more about this car before commenting any further.

It's identical to the Holden WM Statesman/Caprice which has been in production since 2006...

Hello, that is nice. And we get stuck with the Commodore. usually a base model. Sometimes the SS (Highway Patrol, some others...) Also we have the Falcon and the Territory. And some 'special' ones to improve prescnec.

I like that car. Famous German low-volume manufacturer Erich Bitter imports the Statesman, changes interior, front design and suspension and sells it in Europe as the Bitter Vero. The Holden version looks better, if you ask me ...

Interesting, that the Bitter on the pic is LHD. I thought, Holdens were only produced as RHD.

Maybe that's just possible since Holden also produces the kits for Chinese (sold as Buick Park Avenue there, Middle East (as Chevy Caprice) and South Korean (as Daewoo Veritas) markets.

The side profile looks out of proportion with the front wheels so far forward. That and the grille off a Chevy Venture are the two biggest things I don't like.

I just realised in taxiguys 1st post, the Cparice has Victoria, Austrlia plates on it. The photo is taken somewhere on the outskirts of MElbourne (Can see skyline in background). I wonder if I will see it on the road???
