Model Cars......who else collects them?

Over here in Belgium, the current Matchbox peg warmer (*) at Action stores seems to be the Ford Bronco Sport. Which is a bit sad because it's a nice little model. Maybe a bit too small? It seems close to 1/70. Pale blue doesn't help either.
Previous peg warmers were the champagne Lexus LS400 last year and the blue Nissan Sentra earlier this year.
(*) Not actual pegs. They just put the content of the box on the shelf.
Edit : I forgot to add a picture.

If you haven't seen one in person, you don't realize how tiny the new Bronco is. I probably is true to scale. The Broncos are over a foot shorter than the Wrangler Unlimited. It's even shorter than the Escape.

I actually saw a real Bronco Sport when I went to the store. It was white, so even plainer than the pale blue Matchbox.

They're scaled to fit the standard blister width. And Matchbox doesn't even mention a scale on the base of the cars, like they used to. I'm not happy about this, but there's already a lot of stuff mentioned on those bases anyway.

How lucky they are in France. In less than weeks, two new series of 1/43 scale model cars have graced the aisles of newsagents and supermarkets.
So I crossed the border twice, and got the first issues. And they're quite good. The rally collection has already been published in Spain and Italy, so I know I'll only try to get a few of the later issues. As for the Mustang series, we'll see. I already know their '67 hardtop is a stinker : it's a '64 body disguised as a '67. I hope there will be some 1980s & 1990s Mustangs in the mix too.

Just curious ..
to our European users : How much costs a Majorette Premium Cars ? here there is a store that sells an E-Class All-Terrain ( didn't even knew it exists ) for 10.00 $ . Too much ? not bad ? a bargain ? ( ok, since the store is Archambault, i doubt about the last option... )

Let's see $10 Canadian is about $7.50 US, which is a little more than what recent high quality (johnny Lightning or similar) 1:64 diecasts go for. I guess it would depend on the quality. I've seen some Majorettes that are better quality and some that are on par with Hot Wheels or Matchbox. If it's a nicer quality then the price is not terrible.
That one looks like it's on par with Matchbox, but I would probably spend the money just for the rarity of it in Canada.

Oh, and for what it is worth, the ones I've seen for sale on e-Bay are going for a lot more than that ($10-19 US). But I also saw a European site with a price of 4.29 Euros which is about 6.27 Canadian. And it is not part of the current lineup, it was a 2021-2022 model.

yeah, seems to be about Matchbox's Moving Parts equivalent, which here is sold for about 6-7 $
agree that its a rare thing here , unlike when i was a kid , you could just get into any convenience/grocery store ( or gas station , drugstore ,Zellers ) and nearly get them out of there by buckets...

If it was a dark red one, don't worry too much. That color is quite nasty : it's a bit too thin, and doesn't cover well. The result is often a car with one half darker than the other because of the way it was suspended when painted in the factory. Hot Wheels had the same problem with the dark red Kia Stinger.

In France, the usual price is 3,99 €, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's moved to 4,29 €.
