The different smart models seem to be listed capitalized, while they are in lower-case letters in the brochures http://www.auto-brochures.com/makes/Smart/Smart_US%20Fortwo_2013-v2.pdf ?

Such inconsistent listing will be fixed later, for the moment it depends how people enter it

Question about http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_1089229.html
should all Simca Marmon SUMB be changed, according to Exiv96's comment?

[...] Question about http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_1089229.html
should all Simca Marmon SUMB be changed, according to Exiv96's comment?

Confirmed by the French Wikipedia and the Dutch version, although both are scarcely sourced. But the truck is indeed called "Type MH 600" in technical documents (fr).
MH 600 and MH 600 BS are separated in this list (fr) and some searches could certainly help to see if there's a difference. It's maybe better to have them as "just" MH 600 meanwhile?

Once more (or should I say as usual?), the model year given by JB sounds like a guess: the SUMB is said here to have been made from 1959 onward while the French army ordered its first models in 1964, which is the usual model year given in the IMCDb. 1964 is not sourced in Wikipedia, but for now I only found the above-mentioned personal site for 1959 as first MY.
The 1968 was certainly first given to some SUMB in the IMCDb (6 out of 25) due to to the 2 trucks rented by Cinema Vehicles (here and here), but as they're described as MB Unimogs, the model year could be as "accurate" as the make...
_____

Thanks to a source (fr) given by the Dutch Wikipedia, it appears that some civilian models known as UNIC V.I.R.D. (for VĂ©hicule d’Intervention Rapide Diesel / Rapid Intervention Diesel Vehicle) also exist. Maybe some of our SUMB will have to be renamed?

Could you please add the chassis code "GMT820" to the 2002 Cadillac Escalade SUV's. I did the other years in that range:

http://imcdb.org/vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=2002&yearTo=2002&makeMatch=- 2&make=cadillac&modelMatch=1&model=escalade&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=o- n&mk=&class7=7&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=

Then could you add "GMT830" to the 2003-2006 Escalade ESV. These should also be "Built in Mexico":

http://imcdb.org/vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=2003&yearTo=2006&makeMatch=- 2&make=cadillac&modelMatch=2&model=escalade+esv&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=- on&mk=&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=

Now is there a way to do the chassis code for the regular 2007-2014 Escalades as a mass change without affecting the ESV's?

2007-2014 SWB Escalades should be GMT926

and

2007-2014 Escalade ESV's should be GMT936

On to the EXT:

2002 EXT should be "GMT806". The other years have been done already.

http://imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&yearFrom=2002&yearTo=20- 02&makeMatch=2&make=cadillac&modelMatch=2&model=escalade+ext&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=- on&mk=&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=

Next project, Chrysler LH cars:

All, except the first gen Dodge Intrepid, are "Built in Canada". From 1994-96, Dodge Intrepid production was added in the Newark Delaware plant, but all 2nd gen Intrepids are Canadian-built.

Chrysler Concorde:
http://imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Chrysler&model=Con- corde

Eagle Vision:
http://imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Eagle&model=Vision- &modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on

Chrysler LHS:
http://imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Chrysler&model=LHS- &modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on

Chrysler 300M:
http://imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Chrysler&model=300- +M&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on

1994+ Chrysler New Yorker:
http://imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&yearFrom=1994&yearTo=19- 98&makeMatch=2&make=chrysler+&modelMatch=1&model=new+yorker&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=- on&mk=&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=

1997+ Dodge Intrepid:
http://imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&yearFrom=1997&yearTo=20- 08&makeMatch=2&make=dodge&modelMatch=1&model=intrepid&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=- on&mk=&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=

(I don't think the concept or NASCAR versions were, but I can undo those manually, if they are included in the mass change)

The first generation 1993-96 Intrepids should be left blank (it's about 50/50 blank/Canada now). The only ones we can be positive about are verified 1993 and 1997. But we should probably have a discussion first before changing all of them.

These upgraded Cabrios were sold as IV but just a III with IV items added, so often called 3.5 like @Woodywoodstock mentioned

Should they be listed with the Mark III (chassis code) or IV (brochures, marketing)?

We could use mkIV with the chassis-code of the mkIII, but it is more a restyled mkIII anyway, I'd maybe rather keep that then

For all Mitsubishi chassis code-related questions, I'll refer you to my topic in another section of the forum : https://imcdb.kelcommunity.be/forum_topic-8497-71474-Mitsubishi_chassis_codes.html

Another topic concerning Suzuki codes is also in the works.

Is it possible to change all [JA] Kia Sportages to [NB-7] ?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kia_Sportage
https://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/%EA%B8%B0%EC%95%84_%EC%8A%A4%ED%8F%AC%ED%8B%B0%EC%- A7%80

I don't know where that JA code was found (Australian series code, perhaps ?) but it is used for the latest Picanto instead.

We need to talk about WiLL.

http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1102345

The original concept for WiLL was a virtual shopping experience, with products made by various companies, including Toyota and Panasonic, but branded as WiLL, and only sold online. As I wrote in the entry above, there were no Toyota logos outside or inside the cars.

I would agree, indeed using the make WiLL would be better
Though that this one has a Toyota badge it seems: http://imcdb.org/vehicle_404201-Toyota-WiLL-Cypha-NCP70-2003.html
But it was maybe added afterwards
I'll do the change in the next days if no-one is against it.

The 40+ (UK) Ford Pilot V8 should all be changed to Ford V8 Pilot as mentioned in the discussion in link above. A task for the almighty sir Admin.

Those Australian-designed Ford Rangers have T6 as their codename, yet in the database, they all have PX, which is an Australian market-only series code, not chassis code.

http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1115058

Can they be changed to T6 instead ? We can add T6/PX for Australian-market ones, like I did with Mitsubishi Pajeros last year.
