The car in the tenth photo may be a Mitsubishi Cordia.

3. - Think is a E70 Corolla

4 - Datsun 210

5 - 1978-80 Buick Regal

6 - 1980-84 Olds 98 Regency

7 - Can't tell if it is a 2-door or 4-door

8 - 1980-81 Chrysler LeBaron (rare)

9 - 1985-88 Chrysler LeBaron GTS hatch

10 - Could be Cordia. My first thought was Nissan 300ZX, but looking at it,I see Acura Integra.

11 - 1974-76 Plymouth Valiant

13 - Blue car is a E30 Corolla, but the interesting car is behind it, a Dodge Mirada (and behind that a 1980-81 Buick Skylark)

14- Is a Cutlass Supreme, surrounded by two Impalas, two Town Cars and a Coupe DeVille.

Wow guys, incredible identifications! :grin: I was google-imaging the cars you were claiming and they all appear to be matches. Quite a thing. Thanks Baube, eLMeR, Exiv96 and night cub :smile:

Yeah this one may simply be too far gone to be positively ID'd, it looks slightly too short to be a four-door and only the chrome outline of the two doors is visible here.

I can't help but think of the 1982-1985 Honda Accord when I see this one, but they did not make two-door models that were not hatchbacks for those model years. And the Prelude is certainly out of the question. That chrome lining along the doors may be the only hint we can get out of it.

Edit: I also just noticed that sloped back end, too.

[...] 5 - 1978-80 Buick Regal [...]

I clearly still have some work to do about US mid-size / full-size models of the late '70s / early '80s :grin:

There's an episode of the Disney Channel kid-com "I Didn't Do It," where a spoiled rich kid played by Corey Fogelmanis tries to woo the main character, played by Olivia Holt. In one scene, the kid has his butler act like a game show emcee and offers her two big prizes for going out with the boy; One is a romantic trip to Paris, and the other is a supposedly fancy new Italian sports car called the "Iannonne Puttanesca" (it sounds more Japanese to me). But in any case, can anybody here find some evidence that it might be based on a real car?

first idea i had when seeing it was a mix of http://www.maserati.com/mediaObject/redesign/models/Quattroporte-S-SQ4/Quattroporte-ridimensionato/Esterni1.1280_/resolutions/res-l964x10000/Esterni1.1280_.jpg with http://www.maserati.com/mediaObject/redesign/models/GranTurismo/granturismo_01/granturismo_03/resolutions/res-l1280x10000/granturismo_03.jpg but i might be wrong...

mixing 2 Maserati together would be a sure way to keep the car's italian roots.. :smile:

The second and third ones are Chrysler products. That second one is a Dodge station wagon of some kind from the early-1960's. The third one is a Chrysler from roughly around 1967. The fourth picture of the rusted station wagon is clearly a mid-1960's Pontiac, but I don't believe it's Tempest-based (seriously, a GTO Station Wagon?).

As they say in some contests : might not be the actual car, illustration for purpose only..... but even if not real GTO, looks better this way than the base model...

I went by memory by this one and the only 60's Pontiac that my memory had in stock last night was this one and Firebird... :smile:

[...] (seriously, a GTO Station Wagon?).

Maybe not as factory model, but what prevents from making SWs a bit beefier? "Playing" with a Mercedes-AMG E 63 S is certainly a lot more fun than driving a standard Mercedes-Benz Diesel station wagon :wink:
It appears that there is at least 3 unofficial factory-made 1972 GTO Station Wagons. But the one shown by Baube could indeed be either a rebadged standard car or a tuned model: impossible to tell it without viewing what's under the hood. Anyway, stranger crossbreeds have occurred(1)...
_____

1- make your choice among this small sample of GM weird and implausible products:
1961 Crew Cab C-60 Viking pickup;
1979 4-door Targa Corvette;
1989 Tracked Bonus/Crew Cab R/V-Series;
• etc.

Aside from authenticity, nothing. Plenty of people have done it. I have to give whoever customized what I assume was a Tempest/LeMans and made it look like it could've been an authentic factory production GTO wagon.

Saw a car today with similar front end as this one
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d9/1972_Fury_Sport_Suburban_1.jpg

but with visible headlights ( either open hidden or no hidden at all ) . i looked at google but can't find a matching tailights, they were wide at the edges and getting narrow as they were getting close to the middle of the car. No pic as i was driving ( was with friends, one took my camera but got my A-pilar instead of the car, which was already getting far away.. )
Any ideas ?

This one in particular is the 1972 Plymouth Fury-based station wagon, although there's a chance you might've been looking at the 1970 Dodge Coronet. I should post one.
