Not running, but in the yard of a house near my place, a Simca 8 Coupé:

I also have pictures of a 911 Gt3, a Lancia Stratos, a corvette C2 cabrio and some other "special cars", but as they have been shot during a meeting of classic and luxury cars which takes place each month here in Toulouse, I'm not sure they're worth being here...

Make a new topic, or give the link to an already existing gallery that I should feed more often

Toyota MR2.

Here it was normally sold as MR, like in France ("MR2" read in French sounds like "Eh merde", meaning "Oh shit").
This one had a MR2 badge and the rear bumper looks US-style (narrow plate).

No pictures, but I also recently saw my first of the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban and of Virginia's new standard-issue license plate with the "Virginia is for Lovers" slogan.

License plate of an acquaintance of mine recently returned from deployment in Germany:

"QQ" is the newest code for private cars of US-servicemen. As it seems, as the older "HK" they are only issued in the size for farming vehicles/small motorbikes (German plates in the exact US-size are rare, because not everywhere available, so mostly you take this size), while other codes, for example the oldest "AF" and "AD" are always in the European size.
I'm not sure, but maybe by that the US Army separates between cars, brought with you from home and cars, bought in Europe.
@CougarTim: for more informations I would be thankful.

These plates are made in the German style, but every detil is different. The coloured TÜV-sticker is a holed fake and where on the regular Euro-plates the EU-star sits on hte blue bar left, these US-servicemen-cars have the NATO-star.

As it seems, works my Imageshack-account again. Before I check all my vacation-pics, let's try it first.

Seen last Saturday on the Autobahn A3 between Bonn and Frankfurt:

Sorry, Commander57, the Dutch dealer has bought it shortly before at another dealer (of course for much less money) and didn't know any further details:

^ Not a thing of lasting beauty really. I bet a few footballers buy them.

"One day before leaving on a local spare parts market:"
Nice Vanden Plas 1300 - unusual "Mk3" version (no wing indicators), although for pub quiz fans the last UK built ADO16 was actually a VdP on 19 June 74.

I got back from Rome today. You probably going to burst out laughing: I saw a R55 Mini with an R50 hood, lights and grille. I was surprised the indicators ended so suddenly! Also, something for Walter snuck into the lower left corner of the pic.

Otherwise I saw a Fiat repair shop. They had a Vignale Gamine (!!!!) in front of their shop. Also, tons of Fiat 500s and Pandas (dating from between 1999 and 2002, not common MYs in Germany) and:
A Daf 44
A Citroen DS
A green VW Bug
A DR 5
A Fiat 500 Giardieniera
A Fiat 1500 (the old one, 1935-1950) pickup
A Fiat 900T or one of its siblings
The popemobile (we got to see the Pope!)
