Maybe outside that period he uses another Saab, more "valuable", e.g. a convertible

Nothing too special, but you don't see these too often anymore. I spotted and managed to get a snapshot of a 1980s (not sure what year exactly) Cadillac Coupe DeVille in a parking garage in West Palm Beach, FL

Grill and parking lights look like a 1983-84 model

This one is kind of odd:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:2013_Greater_Valdosta_Community_Christma- s_Parade_029.JPG
It's a 1964 Ford coupe used in the 2013 Greater Valdosta Community Christmas Parade. Valdosta in in Georgia, for those who don't know, but that's besides the point. You'd think they'd use a Custom, right? Well, when you zoom in on the front fender, you can see it has the side trim of a Galaxie 500.

Plus, something about that Beacon on the roof doesn't exactly say mid-1960's if you ask me.

I saw a shiny red 1959-1961 Studebaker Lark four-door sedan on US 29 in Maryland today.

I followed a GMC Terrain this morning. It seems rare on IMCDb so here there are probably not many of these. It had diplomatic plates.
No pic because the SD card of my dashcam seems to have a problem :ohwell:

On the way home from school, while waiting for the bus, I spotted a Ligier and a 2nd gen. Audi TT mocking up as a R8. It even had the R8's typical rear bumper vents!

Well, I don't like these "Wannabe-higher-models" mods. And I'm for the cars in their original conditions (or at least with soft additions)

The keynote about such cobblework is extreme poor and embarassing: if you cannot afford the original, better leave it at all, than to choose that shit. :oh:

It's the sme thing as with the Pontiac Fieros, pimped as Ferrari, Bugatti-replicas on VW-base, MP Lafers, Mitsuokas and -in a smaller dimension- the Mercedes 190 or 200 with the wannabe-500 SEC-nose or poverty-spec BMW 316 with "M"-badges.

All that is no obeisance to the classic original, it's just a awkward sign of the owner's poverty.

What naming would be most appropriate for that thread: playpen or safari park?

My uncle just got back from Los Angeles, and, as usual, he brought me some used cars mags. I gotta say, the new Dodge Charger has gotten quite small and ugly. (It shows a picture of a Mini, stupid image service won't let me upload the pic because it's too big! :halalala: )

A friend just posted this on Facebook: "There they are, Mr Spielberg and Ed Burns shooting a new pilot called Public Morals."

Speaking of the use of period cars in upcoming movies, the makers of the movie "A Sort of Homecoming" posted a collection of 1970's and 1980's cars on their Facebook page:

I'm not going to post an actual picture, just yet.
