No pics there, but for francophone contributors, the January issue of the Gazoline magazine has 2 interesting articles:
- One about a Citroën Traction 7A (one of the first ones: no more than 70 models -out of 7,000- known in the whole world);
- Another one about a Panhard Scarlette (fr) (only 208 cars made).

Not a "news" (2012), and I don't know if "car" is the good word for it: gone in a solo raid through Africa with a Citroën 2CV and having broken the car, a kind of tech sorcerer transformed it into a... motorbike to finish the ride

Not really a genuine siting, but the red Hyundai seen briefly in this trailer was sold to the production by a friend of mine who worked for a used car place at the time. It was one of three they bought for the film, though the EX54ZGP plate is from the one from my friend's dealership:

So it features in an upcoming series? It could be added if you used the trailer, no?

Pics from http://www.ic-tm.nl/en/ , where I hd been. I will not go there again. Too expensive and too uninteresting (if you don't want to spot a few interesting or want to buy masses of terribly overpriced cars. Only cars, no part-, or collectible-dealers at all.
On the club-stand of http://www.volvo240-260register.nl/PROD/
It was a real "made for DDR"-car, as a guy, with whom I had a nice talk, told me.
Annother DDR-Volvo was on auction, hold by http://www.coys.co.uk/auction.php?auctionID=51 in a tent behind the exhibition halls.
The list: http://www.coys.co.uk/auction.php?auctionID=51&lots=1
the car: http://www.coys.co.uk/auction.php?itemID=5738&auctionID=51
quite overpriced, as the Volvo-guy said.
already sold:
29.000 €:
49.000 €:
59.500 €:
49.500 € IIRC ... or was it 69.500 € ??
Now more stuff from the Coys-auction:
http://www.coys.co.uk/auction.php?itemID=5815&auctionID=51
http://www.coys.co.uk/auction.php?itemID=5729&auctionID=51

Wow
I mean... Seroiusly? Here you can find plenty of them for more than 10.000 € less. I thought the ones sold over 3.000 were already too expensive!
BTW this one has unoriginal side indicators (looks like the ones of the 131) so I don't know if is really new or just restored and IMHO a vintage car is nice also for its history and I mean an history in the hands of the previous owner(s), not parked in a dusty warehouse; but I recognize that some collectionists go crazy for almost unused carsLatest Edition: 12/01/2015 @ 03:22:01

Before I continue with more impressions from Maastricht, here a pic from this morning.
Sorry, rjluna2, I haven't waited until the funny red light was in usage and I'm not that stupid, that I would have provoked the flash
Back to Maastricht.
11.950 €
10.950 €
8.750 €
8.900 € WITH ASSHOLE-ALERT
When I checked the K 70 (except some wrong details as radio and door-knobs obviously in very good condition - but terribly overpriced anyways. For general reasons and the fact, that a white 1972 MY with blue Skai-seats and no other extras at all is dull and uninteresting), I asked the dealer (a little fat hairless Dutch classic VW-dealer, but this is not his car, it belongs to a VW-dealer in Aachen/Aken/Aix-la-Chapelle. The VW T1 and T2 neither, they are obviously from the -incredible overpriced- "Kieftenklok"-store) really politely
"Could you please open the front bonnet?",
he answered
"Are you interested in that K 70?"
"Yes, I own one"
"Then you know how it looks" - and sat back on the back platform of a T2.
Saving parking space with Fiat
18.500 €

Indeed all the 127 mkII have these strange side indicators instead of the orginal ones... Curious

Classic cars in Holland are generally overpriced, they ask crazy money. If you want to spend 10,000 euros on a "vintage" W124 go to Holland.

I haven't said anything about that. The whole conservation I wrote above. No, Im not personally interested in that car. I'm satisfied with my own one and I've decided to purchase any other classic car not before my K 70 is in 100% mint condition. And when I would think about that, it will not be annother K 70.
My one is the MY and the version, I always liked best.
The offered car not. It's a 1972 MY, plain white and has blue Skai-seats - nothing of that I ever liked.
But I could have checked the car for friends and other interested people. I offer that service since years, to check as a long-time-hardcore-connaisseur the K 70ies for people with less knowledge. To prevent bad surprises and tears of anger.
Spotted yesterday in my village - walter will not love to see, that this is just a winter-clunker
Note the plate...

I don't have enough courage to read all archives of the forum to see if someone already gave that link, so sorry for any redundancy...
I don't like advertisement, but...
Seen in a French forum: les véhicules de la Caravane du Tour de France dans les années 50 et 60 (the vehicles of the Tour de France publicity caravan in 1950's and 1960's)
Among all the amazing vehicles shown in this 6-page topic, I'd like to dedicate this Type H (I hope it has at least a 48V battery
) to the "light bulbs addict" of the IMCDb
(Weird panoramic windshield which looks like a rear window of some sedan. Just 3 wiper blades, given the number of horns?
)
2 other pictures out of severall small wonders:
• To the infinity and beyond!
(Note the "Seine" plate on the right: this department disappeared on January 1, 1968, when it was split into four smaller departments)
• Not all cars and trucks shown are from the "Tour de France", but most of the advertising vehicles are odd whatever the time or the place...
(The panel claims: "Please don't write, cut or climb on tire!")

The verb "move" would have been enough, I think. There's no need to be rude when someone makes a mistake...
