The Nissan Leaf might not be that interesting or special but this one surely gives us a nice reminder which is :
Always have a Plan B
There is a difference between the Leaf's plate and the Mustang's one that in the next post. A brand new empty box to the first one who finds it

This sight made me giggling. How wrong would it be, if there would be an anorexia-girl instead?
P.S. I'm still a bit angry about myself, that I couldn't made a photo of a really funny truck-inscription
It was a truck from a German lighting or lamp-producer (I haven't noticed the name, so I cannot google either). The motif was a photo of a naked girl, but it was too dark to see any details. The inscription said "If you would have our lightings, you could see everything"

I was at a large car show a few weeks ago. I've already mentioned the car most noteworthy to our purposes on IMCDb ( http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_191034-Chevrolet-Heavy-Duty-1939.html ) but here are a few other highlights. I can provide more pictures of pretty much any car here if anyone wants them. There were also the usual slew of Corvettes, Mustangs, Thunderbirds, and Model As, but I largely ignored those.
1964 Dodge Custom 880
Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II (a model I was not familiar with, and would not have known if I had not seen the badge)
Alfa Romeo Milano
1964 Plymouth Sport Fury
1952 Chrysler Saratoga
1962 Ford Galaxie 500
1911 Stanley Steamer (check out that horn)
1935 Packard Twelve (the same one I saw a few months ago in DC)
1960 Buick LeSabre x2
1971 Mercury Comet & 1968 Plymouth Barracuda
Rolls-Royce Corniche II x2
2007 Ferrari F430 Challenge (For sale!)
1932 Ford Speedster (as described by the accompanying information)
1941 Packard (original, unrestored)
BMW 2002 tii
And now, my two favorites:
1928 Reo Flying Cloud (Look at the detail on the dashboard; the whole car was filled with amazing little touches like that. They really don't build them like that anymore.)
1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Station Wagon (One of 14 built, of which an estimated 6 survive. This particular car first served as a VIP/courtesy car at the 1969 Indianapolis 500.)
Other noteworthy cars present and photographed but not included here (pictures available upon request): 1973 Imperial LeBaron, 1951 Chrysler Imperial, 1970 Morgan, 1977 Fiat X1/9, 1985 Honda CRX, Toyota Land Cruiser (40-Series), 1972 Checker Marathon, 1960 Edsel Ranger, 1959 Chevrolet El Camino, Continental Mark II, 1954 Cadillac Eldorado

And then last weekend I was in Pittsburgh.
1935 Ford pickup hot rod on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on the way up:
In downtown Pittsburgh:
Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
Maserati GranTurismo
Trixy The Trundle Hauler of Trundle Manor, a strange art museum/self-proclaimed tourist trap/steampunk paradise type place. In a previous life, Trixy was a 1952 Dodge pickup. Now her exhaust shoots flames.

http://trundlemanor.com/Members/Trixy/TTrixy.html
While in Pittsburgh I went to another, smaller car show. The two most noteworthy cars in my eyes were a 1954 Dodge Coronet and a 1956 Studebaker Commander:
And, as a bonus for our construction equipment lovers, an old Massey-Ferguson wheel loader. I think it's a 55, but any model identification has been painted over:
And with that I'm done dumping pictures on you for now.
EDIT: I tell a lie, I forgot one. Somewhere in rural Pennsylvania, a Chevrolet Venture with a replacement hood from a Pontiac Montana. You'll notice it doesn't fit.

1980 604 hidden in corner of guarded parking lot:
Who knows, maybe it is even one of the 604s originally used by state administration in the 70s and early 80s.

On March 19, I went to yet another Spring Hill Car Show, and found what seemed like the most unbelievable thing at the time. A couple with a 1921 Oldsmobile pickup decked out like in "The Beverly Hillbillies.

(pic taken through the window of a Lexus, as seen in the corner :D)
On this second pic I was a little too slow to get the whole back on the car.
Old NL plate.

When have you been there? Me, my wife and her little niece last Sunday around Noon

The hell for adults, but the heaven for kids. But interesting to see anyways.

20 to 22 July, I went with a friend to a house-warming party, of friends who recently bought a holiday cottage in the middle of nowhere in France (Indre department)
