Question - A movie nearly without cars.
Published 08/10/2007 @ 18:25:57, By weasel1984
There is a movie only with two very background cars (actually 3), though as is important (and one of my favourites  ) I would like to list it, and put pics of vehicles only in comment about the film. Possible?
Seems that someone alredy has done such thing (with cartoon?!). I know there was something about it on the forum, but I can't find this topic. Also as I remember there was a problem not only with database size, but with space for our comments.

Well, this movie had only 2 very background cars.

If there are really background cars you will not list normally, then maybe pick the best to list and put the rest in the comments?

Just a suggestion...

If it's anything like this film http://www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=34274 (there used to be 2 other really pointless background cars listed on it) just don't bother.

Sorry I didn't write it clearly. These cars are the only ones visible in the entire movie. So there wouldn't be any separate pages for vehicles, just pics/thumbs in the main comment for the film.

My opinion is not to list it.
Why list a movie on Internet Movie Car Database with no (acceptable) cars? That would be strange?

Strange?... Well maybe a bit. It would be just an info what we can find, but actually it isn't so important for me, I wanted to ask only.

For me it could be listed just to have the movie entry of that movie, but I know that most of the others do not like to have movie "without cars"

Well, can't you add on picture and then name all the cars in the comments?

I have an example of a movie without cars that I have uploaded, see if I can find it...

Ah, here it is:

I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but seems it is what I've suggested.
Here is a one of mentioned cars (only 3 are visible in the movie and this one is the best):

I simply would like to know what it is, especially that is transported by train.

I see no picture...
Sorry, I didn't know how to express myself in English...
What I meant was just upload one picture (with make and type) and name the other makes/types in the comments of that picture.

Well in this case it is not one pic with several cars, but few too-background cars each on separate pic, I guess?
Car on the pic above is indeed quite small.

I remember you saying this before, as you wished for 'Completeness' and I agree
When I added a cartoon (a week or so ago) the vehicles are 'unindentifiable'/made for movie, but as they were cartoon vehicles I justed added an entry for the series & placed the cars in the comments. (Then if anyone doe's check for cars in this tv series, at least it can be found here)

Could be.

As I already said, it is not a big problem for me with not listing of this movie.

I think the movie can be listed. The car in the comments maybe. Then we have the movie on the site.

I know what you mean by all of this, weasel1984.I have seen several movies with just a few cars in, but they are all too small and aren't worth the effort of capturing if they are in far backgrounds as such.

If I remember correctly, John Wayne's last movie "The Shootist" has at least one car... and this was a western.

Its good to be listed so that other people don't watch or record it while gambling on the notion that there will be good cars to list on the site.
