I wonder if the graffiti has something to do with it being a big American SUV in Belgium (do they share the same sentiments as the French?).
Thanks Chris! This really caught my eye while I was driving so I took a picture of it (shouldn't really fiddle around with a camera while on a motorway I know)

I doubt, as this one is obiously older, not something like an Escalade/X5/...
But it is parked along a street with no house, where you find mostly trucks and trailers, not somewhere where I would leave my car for the night.

Found by my father: Pontiac TransSport, EU-specs, relatively common here (though that this one is from Poland according to the plate)

I do like that van, it's kind of common here as well, not that you see one everyday but still they're seen from time to time

Yesterday a newer Maserati drove by me, I'm not sure what model it was. It's definitely an uncommon vehicle where I live.
edit: actually I think it was a Quattroporte.

If it had 4 doors, it was a quattroporte. Except 80s model with was named Biturbo like the coupé.

So what, smaller is possible. In 1997 I'd been in Israel, there was the brand new VW Polo Classic getting very popular as a taxi.
In Germany the Jetta is not very popular as a taxi. If VW's are in use, it's mostly the Passat Variant or the T4 or T5 Multivan. Where I lived until 2005, there was even a Vento running as a taxi, not very common either.
But nowadays you can see more and more Dacia's as taxi in Germany, not only the Wagon, even the Sedan. This is really a bit too small and shabby IMHO.

Same in Belgium.
Most common are Mercedes C & E-class of course, but it seems that Skoda become popular for that. I should try to pay attention to taxis, right now I can't really give other popular models.
Only common small taxis are A-class Mercedes.

Sadly to say, the taxis where I live are mostly all Scion XBs (Yuck!). I miss the Crown Vics.
Had to fix this sentence, didn't make sense before.

So in about an hour I'm going on a ride in my friend's new 2002 Saab 9-3 that he just got to replace his old Toyota Camry. I think it's black with black leather interior, I'm looking forward to it!

Third comment in a row! Yeah! Enjoyable Saab drive confirmed. Also my friend who lives in Seattle (by the way I'll be going there in June and will take pictures of sweet west coast cars!) just sent me a message that he saw a Porsche Spyder 550, very similar to the one James Dean passed away in!
