Mirrors, doorhandles, side trim and indicators reminds me a Gonow GA200 but the front is different:

There are lots of other Isuzu pickup clones in China. I've asked a question on China Car Forums to see if anyone can identify this one.

I've got a reply from Erik of the China Motor Vehicle Documentation Centre (who, by the way, wrote the book about North Korean automobiles):
Too many possibilities:
Jinbei SY1025/ SY1026
Dadi Pioneer BDD1022
Jiefang CA1021Z5
Fudi Lion NHQ1027/ NHQ1028
Tianma Fengling KZ1020/ KZ1021
Tianqi Meiya Landcruiser TM1020
greetings, Erik

So it looks as if someone was trying to sell a Chinese pickup in the UK but couldn't get the venture off the ground and the stock is being sold off quietly on the secondhand market.

On a car selling website I found this Truck: http://pictures2.autotrader.co.uk/imgser-uk/servlet/media?id=1595992751

It's listed under Isuzu and described as a TF look-a-like but I don't think it is a Isuzu... TT Fortigo is also in the description... I have searched TT Fortigo and have found only results for this truck or another similar blue one for sale at auction.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Take a look at the following link;

Neither of the cars were unusual but I saw a car crash happen today.

It was strange. Somebody in a Megane was at a T junction and drove straight into a car going across. Not much damage but I was surprised the car he hit spun around as I thought that only really happened with rear drive cars. The fact that he didn't really take evasive action and how blind you have to be to not see a bright yellow Ford Puma suggested it was almost deliberate.

In the Toyono District of Osaka, I saw an old 1983 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight sedan, a rare sight in Japan, but the fun part was that it was painted to look like a Japanese Police car. It didn't have any markings on except "Metropolitan Police" on it. It also had amber turn signals added on the rear and fender mounted mirrors and a side indicator, making it made for the Japanese market. Unlike the usual slim Japanese police lamp of the older spec cars, this one had a big "R2D2" style light with four lamps inside and the siren housing under it, just like an old American police car. I tried to get a picture, but my phone was dead and when I went back later that week to take a picture, it was gone. I'm looking for it whenever I go to that area.

Nice. Out-and-about for a classic car show somewhere nearby perhaps?

We have had one major car show already, for southeastern SC/NC, the "Run to the Sun" classic car & truck show, held at North Myrtle Beach, SC. I wanted to include my pickup, as it qualifies to be in the event, but it still has a few cosmetic issues to be dealt with before its entered into any car show.

Neptune I am not sure about the car show but it is likely as the 'car show season' starts in early April around here and there are dozens of local car shows.

Today I went to a friends shop in Virginia Beach (to take another friend's Jetta in for inspection) and I saw this Jeepney there, I have never seen one of these here and while it is wearing current VA tags it also had 1972 Republic of the Philippines tags on it,

http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5187/5655735587_227ddb3199_b.jpg Sorry about the sideways shot, no matter what I do it wont rotate.

aparently the Sarao seen on the front is the manufacturer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeepney

A couple of vehicles I wanted to get pictures of;
When I was driving up north, I saw a medium-duty crew cab Freightliner, possibly FS-65, towing a 5th Wheel trailer, which itself was towing a late-1960's to early-1970's Volkswagen Bus as a dinghy.

On a train trip into Westchester County, New York, I was riding the Metro-North Harlem Line, when I saw a NYPD impound or repair yard in the North Bronx, that had a 1965 Chevrolet Biscayne restored as a 1960's New York City Polide car.

Oh, I so wish I was able to get pics of all those vehicles.
