Saab 9-5 SportCombi Aero (PremiumX)
"Wagon Queen Family Truckster" from National Lampoon's Vacation (Greenlight)
Walter White's 2004 Aztek from Breaking Bad (Greenlight)

And in 1:24, because I didn't find it in 1:43 and it was cheap, a 2000-2005 Impala (Welly)

Nice Impala ! Much better than the one done by Maisto fifteen years ago. I bought it as a yellow taxi (a police version was available too). The shape was correct, but Maisto didn't bother to do any of the black trim : door frames, bits in the bumpers, headlights surrounds... I had to paint them myself. It's a shame because Maisto did bother to paint the black stuff accurately on its 1/18 Impala.
I guess Maisto gave much more importance to its 1/18 models back then.
By the way, the 2006-2011 Impala is available in 1/43, courtesy of American Heritage Models, but it looks a bit strange, too rounded, as if it was made from an older VW Passat.

I'm not sure I'd like to pay 35 euros for that.

I saw the 2006 model indeed, but I don't especially like it. I prefer older models.

On my trip to Tallinn I took the chance and bought two models that I couldn't have gotten anywhere in the West...
The 2106 was especially interesting in that it was the modern 1990s version, not sold in the West anymore.
Also available were:
Militsiya VAZ 2104
VAZ 2108 Sputnik
VAZ 2121 Niva
GAZ-13
UAZ 39625 and 31514/Hunter
PAZ 32053 in various variations
I spotted the Volga 21 from the same series at the airport today.
From the 2112 series there was:
GAZ A
GAZ 3110 (looked more like a 31029 with 3110 front and rear)
GAZ 69 with snow plow
PMG-20
Pre-facelift Pobeda taxi.
You can find many of these by googling 'Автомобили на службе'

I have the 2112 (and some friends) too. You could get them in Britain for a time (I'll add the picture later, it's not wanting to attach here for some reason)

They both have factory mistakes that make them seem somewhat more realistic - the 2106 has a little rust on the front and black paint under the grille, while the 2112 has a wobbly wheel (replicating its likely jarring ride) and a scratch on one hubcap.

Well, not exactly. From 2014 to 2016, about 25 cars from the first 30 issues of this "Auto na slujbe" collection have been available in Belgium, thanks to the dutch Action discount store chain who sold them at 0,99 € each !
They were unsold leftovers from the russian collection, and this meant the fit and finish was not always great. But they're still good replicas of rather "exotic" vehicles, and I bought at least one of each.

Yes, my 2112 has a wobbly wheel, and the rear plate was already falling off in the blister.

Nice russian models!
I bought an Audi Q7 of these russian series several months ago in a stand quite near from me:
There were a lot of russian cars too, but as usual I have to put the brakes to myself when buying model cars as I don't want to quit too much my main theme (for obvious money & space reasons).

I have a collection of approx 150 1/43 scale diecasts and some white metal, all 1950s-60's Yankee barges and find buying some new stock difficult, the mass market does the same vehicles over and over again, there are only so many '57 Chevys I want to buy.
The manufacturers who do more obscure vehicles have raised prices to daft levels, I used to get Brooklins for £40, now they're £90+, add in the postage rates from the states have gone ridiculous and the collection isn't growing much any more.

There's been a flow of 1/43 scale models of old american cars in the past few years, from the 1940s to the 1990s, but they're molded in resin instead of metal, and the prices are unreal. From 60 euro to more than 150 euro, sometimes. The manufacturers are Neo and its offshoot American Excellence, TSM, Spark, Matrix, GLM, and a few more.
But most of the time, they leave me cold. The way they're designed, with resin bodies, windows made from thin plastic foil, and many photoetched parts, I wonder how they'll fare as years go by. I've already heard horror stories about photo-etched parts gone missing after a simple dust cleaning.
I do like Spark's racing cars, though.

Indeed such fragile model cars may look well detailed but I'm also a little afraid on how these will age. And these are "too detailed" anyway
I have a few, often bought when discounted, but I prefer the more common style of model cars, like those we find in the 20-30€ price range (or 10-15€ in press shops collections)

Right now I have over 700+ vehicles in my collection (95% were Tomica). I been collecting since 2011 and still going up today. I mostly collect them, but aswell resell them on Ebay/FB for value price so I could buy more to collect.
BTW, this is only some of it, a few more on my table since I have no more "parking" space for them.

I've only got 2 Tomicas, but they're Rootes-jewels
so I don't need any more. Two Isuzu Hillman Minxes, with a 1:43 Vanguards Minx S3a behind.
