Does take a long time before my pics are on the site. Is there a problem?

You can easily submit these pictures on the site yourself, but be sure to crop the black borders and perhaps enlarge them a bit since they are good quality (720x498 max.) Then they will be approved much sooner.

Do we even accept pictures that were taken from a TV? I don't think the quality is up to par with what is expected on the site.

They looked acceptable enough quality wise, but looking closer that would explain the black borders with SAMSUNG in them. So yes, these should be taken properly with capture software.
