All first generation Volvo S80 should get the chassis code "TS".
It includes all 1998 - 2005 models:
http://imcdb.org/vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=&yearTo=2005&makeMatch=- 2&make=Volvo&modelMatch=1&model=S80&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=on&mk=&origin=- &madein=&madefor=&role=

And also these two 2006 models:
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_548262-Volvo-S80-2006.html
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_890280-Volvo-S80-2006.html

Furtheremore, there are currently some 1st gen. S80 without year, which should get the correct year and also the [TS] chassis code.

These should be set as 1998:

What is TS? We already had a small discussion about TS but no one gave a good answer. I know that TS is a part of the S80 vin. Example: YV1TS32G54F123456 where T identifies an S80 and S a four door sedan. But if the car has a Bi-Fuel engine the chassis code is KU or KV, if it's an AWD in the USA the chassis code is TH
TS isn't used on all S80 and I don't think it's a good idea to use it.

According to night cub's comment, 'made in' tag should be removed unless we find more info on a specific car.

http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Toyota_model-ZZE130.html

Edit: and by the way, why half of them are with E120 chassis cone and other are under ZZE130 although they're of the same generation?

ZZE130 is one of the "submodels" of E120 I suppose ?
Maybe it would be better to only use E120 ?

According to this slightly confusing Wiki article, both E120 and E130 coexisted, but it doesn't give an exact reason for that, and what version was available where.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corolla_(E120)

However, according to toyotareference.com, ZZ refers to the two 1.8 engines available in North America. The XRS had chassis code ZZE131, while all other versions had ZZE130.

From what I understand, E130 is the Toyota Matrix: "The Corolla has also spawned another multi-purpose vehicle, the Matrix (E130)"
But it is weird then that the E120 has ZZE130 as full code :grin:

I would be tempted to use only E120 as code for the Corolla, rather than ZZE130.

No, there are regular Corollas with E120 and E130 codes. I thought it was a question of size (smaller JDM versus bigger export versions), but it could be instead related to differences in drivetrain or even suspension systems (that's to be confirmed).

Anyway, I'd prefer keeping US-spec Corollas with those ZZE130 or 131 codes... because it's just those two codes. That makes it easier to distinguish US-spec Corollas from the whole bunch of "E120 by default" Corollas we have on the site.

And just keep E130 for the Matrix, without any "ZZ", because the choice isn't as simple as for Corolla sedans.

Indeed of ZZE130/1 applies to all US models and E120/130 to others, it is an acceptable compromise...

So, at the end we could make these changes?

2003-06 Corolla for US market --> ZZE130 and no "built in" tag
2003-06 Corolla for EU, J and other countries --> E120
Matrix 1st generation --> ZE130
Matrix 2nd generation --> ZE140

The next time I see a parked Ranger, I'll check its chassis plate to see where it was built.

Could you please change all 2008+ Saturn Vue's to
Origin: Germany
Built In: Mexico

Some have South Korea or USA origins, and most have nothing for where built.

http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=2008&yearTo=201- 0&makeMatch=2&make=saturn+&modelMatch=1&model=vue&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=- on&mk=&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=

The first generation was US origin and built.

Looks like the same info can be done to them as well, removing the chassis code. They all appear to be Captiva Sports and not the regular Captiva.

Have just been tidying Seat 600s for half an hour, but one task remains as too many to whizz through quickly to complete the tidying. Can all Seat 600 E get [100E] code as block update - currently a mix of blanks, [100] and [100E].

Also as open question for Seatologists, is there a code for the 1972+ 600 L?? Entries at the moment are all either plain [100] or blank; there are no [100L] entries.
