the sidemarker was a good indication that it was sold in NA but i don't remember seeing any, so i thought it could have been a US car only

Interesting looking cabover seen on the cover of a children's book named 'Trucks: a Sturdi-Contour Book'. Dated 1966, printed in the U.S. Truck looks North American but haven't found a match. Real or fictional?

Kegare, I think your truck is from a brochure and that it had its front altered.
My main suspect is 1966 Ford but I haven't found any good match yet.

Compare bumper and fender from the 1965 Ford brochure. Even the driver looks very similar...

Great find, I figured it had to be from some kind of brochure but didn't know where to look first. It does look very much look like an altered Ford, the mirrors with the 3 stripes fit too. Interestingly, the contents of the book show real trucks but this one on the cover must have been changed just to avoid the obvious or to be creative.
The design would have been pretty attractive for a mass produced truck at that time. Maybe aside from the grill pattern that leads... nowhere, or rather half there.
Thanks atom!

Early-mid 60s Plus 4 - the domed panel between bonnet and grille is characteristic - longer than 4/4. Also has early-mid 60s sidelights - late 60s they became bigger/flatter.

Looks like 1927-29 Willys-Knight Model 70A 4-Door Sedan

Here's a 2-Door version as well (even though a 2-door version appears to have different door hinges, unlike the 4-door sedan):

Hello,
I need your help in identifying this vehicle, it's chinese police vehicle.

Given that it's got Isuzu mudflaps and that this photo was taken in Chongqing, I would have thought that this is Qingling-Isuzu QL-Series pickup with some weird aftermarket canopy (Chongqing is where they make chinese-built Isuzu's), BUT, after doing some sleuthing, it appears that it's called Dima DMT5031XKC (Investigation team car) (Manufacturer: Chongqing Dima Industry Co., Ltd.), which is based on QL-Series chassis, made by Qingling Motors Co., Ltd., China.
