Very sad for the classics, it was for the show effect and to cause fear at the tax evaders.
The German government and tax-authorities try to make money with such illegal cars.
You find them here:
https://zoll-auktion.de/auktion/auktionsuebersicht.php?katid=191&erste_seite=ja
Among former authority cars you find vehicles and any other stuff there, confiscated by the customs administrations or courts (not only financial courts, also seisures by criminal tribunes.
A time ago they had also such a classic Corvette in their stock, plus a collection of Harley Davidson motorcycles, confiscated at a red light district king.
More often you will find poor devil's cars there, as 20 year old Opel Astras "unknown condition, no papers, no keys, loaded with garbage, minimum bid 20 Euro"
Maybe this example
https://zoll-auktion.de/auktion/auktion.php?id=560632
will not reach the 150 EUR. "Vollstreckung" = enforcement/confiscation
anyone for a Saab 9-3?
https://zoll-auktion.de/auktion/auktion.php?id=560540
Many years ago, a friend picked up a K 70, which former owner, a sexual predator would never see the daylight again. At the wrecking he found ropes and trammels under the seats...

The problem with re-selling them is that those who tried to import them can simply re-buy them then.
They should send/sell them back to the country from where they were bought...

Here's a truck video that might be interesting:

I hope it's legal in other countries besides the USA.

The man who lives in 1946 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9fI40Nni3k though unclear if he drives a 1940's car. I would be a fan but not if he drives a Nissan Micra.

Looks like similar article found at VW storing around 300,000 diesels at 37 facilities around U.S.

The site on the right, is it a graveyeard for airplanes?
If yes, I think, I have been passing the location some years ago, on the way from Las Vegas to the Sequoia N.P. It's the Hwy 65 from Bakersfield to Visalia. On the other side of the 65 is the Hyundai test range.

They could sell them for cheap to movie producers for wrecking instead of using classic cars

Oh, I will definitely save that for later. I could recommend Project Binky, Slipkungen, Mighty Car Mods and Roadkill, those are my favorite car related YouTube channels.

Nice clip!
Our most active French member knows this car and the guy in the clip, but it was sold afterwards two times and he lost the contact.
Let's wait, until the new owner needs spare parts. Then he had to come back to us.

Because you're part of the K70-parts mafia?
Yes. We are the mafia monopolists or the monopolistic mafiosi for K 70
No kidding, there is no spare parts specialist for the K 70 at all nowhere.
When there was a VW-specialist, who had NOS-K 70-parts, we bought up them en bloc.

It seems, that the new commercial from Radeberger Bier (Putin's favorite, Merkel recently has sent him some bottles) isn't on Youtube yet.
It's hold in the "good old times" style, father and son in 1920ies/1930ies clothes are looking after a Radeberger horse and cart - and a car in the background is a Lada 2107

Saab 9000 with almost 500.000 km. Little bit of rust, but mostly happy faces.

Renault Espace with 771.000 km. Actually no rust. "Better than Mercedes from that era"

Mercedes W124 with 2 million km. Clearly very tired, ready for the boat to Africa.
