I've stumbled across this DVD ... beautiful movie ... not many cars present but I also want to see if my cut/crop/resized skills (?) are improving
One-star
- Corvair convertible?
- car on the left (if possible)
- two 'classics'
- this wagon 'should' belong to a character, but it's seen only in the background of this shot, so I put it in the one-star category
- a lot of nice cars parked here, I got a second shot for something that appears to be a Ferrari?
I think the white Rolls Corniche reappears here, always as background
- car in background on a film daily ... background car nevertheless?
Two-stars
- Chevy Belair '57, this vehicle is used by the main characters but only in one scene ... for me is a two-star, you guys decide
- same happens with this Porsche 356 ... seen in two shots, here
and here
- and for this Mercedes ...
- and this SL which we only see in this shots
- VW Trasporters?
- vehicle used only in this shot by a secondary character
Three-stars
- Bruce Lee (main character) rides the bike in more occasions, I believe is a Triumph Bonneville. These are the only shots in which it does not blur and/or gets a full frame
I got a couple more but I a m facing multiple problems... hope latter before the site goes into maintenance

It is only the site that will be under maintenance, not the forum
Picture seem good, except a ratio problem
It is especially visible on these two pictures:

http://img181.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ndvd021jd1.jpg
... wheels are not round!

Maybe I have some tips for your 'ratio-problems'....
I have had some troubles myself, but now it seems to be OK.
I make screencaptures with Media Player Classic. This provides me pictures of 720x576 pixels.
Mostly on the DVD is written what the ratio is, 4:3, 5:4, 16:9.
4:3 = 1.333333333333
5:4 = 1.25
16:9 = 1.85
I make this sum (I don't know a good word for it, sorry).
720 / 1.33333333 (depending on the DVD ratio) = 540.
Then I make the picture 720x540 pixels.
You can also do this with a width you want (640 / 1.333333333 = 480, so 640x480).
P.S.
If I have time tomorrow, I will upload them (if imcdb is up...)

aha ... very interesting ... it's a long and complex road
I've tried the resizing of one of the pics with trouble .... is this better?
if not I don't know what to do ... I'll try WinMediaClassic ...
Haven't you heard Germans are at the cutting edge of technology? Revolution is underway

- car on the left (if possible) http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/6970/ndvd003qg3.th.png
Looks kind of Chrysler-ish. Then again, it's in the dark.
- two 'classics' http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/2290/ndvd008ql6.th.jpg
- this wagon 'should' belong to a character, but it's seen only in the background of this shot, so I put it in the one-star category http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/6312/ndvd009ke6.th.jpg

The red & white wagon is a Rambler, and the white one is a Ford Falcon.

I think you DVD-ratio is 2.35. I had nog mentioned that option above.
The image is 720 wide.
Do: 720 / 2.35 = 306, the new hight must be 306, then it looks OK and the wheels are round...
So:
4:3 = 1.333333333333
5:4 = 1.25
16:9 = 1.85
?:? = 2.35 *
* I don't know that scale, but if it's not one of the others, it's 2.35

OK, so after some time I've managed to se-size all pics to the (I hope) correct ratio.
One-star
- Studebaker Lark
- car on the left (if possible) It was mentioned it looked Chrysler-ish
- two 'classics' .. one is a Rambler
- this wagon probably belongs to a character, but it's seen only in the background of this shot, so I put it in the one-star category
It was suggested is a Falcon (US Falcon, that is )
- a lot of nice cars parked here, I got a second shot for something that appears to be a Ferrari?
- I think the same white Rolls Corniche reappears here, always as background
- car in background on a film daily ... more background than this it cannot get, really?
Two-stars
- Chevy Bel-Air Convertible '57, this vehicle is used by the main characters but only in one scene ... for me is a two-star, you guys decide
- same happens with this Porsche 356 ... seen in more shots, here
... and here
- and for this Mercedes ...
- and this Merc SL which we only see in these shots
- VW Trasporters? Both of them get 2-stars
one ....
and another ...
- vehicle used only in this shot by a secondary character
Three-stars
- Bruce Lee (main character) rides the bike in more occasions, I believe is a Triumph Bonneville. These are the only shots in which it does not blur and/or gets a full frame
There are some other shots, but they are very fuzzy and/or veeeery background. Plus I believe they 'recycle' some of the cars which seem to re-appear at intervals as background ... for me is all.
Hope I did right
