Was this taken somewhere around the central station? Several buildings there have a similar style.

I think it was on our walk from the cathedral to our first beer that day. Looking at the map it's probably just outside the central station.

For the DVLA-checkers:

397 NMN (I hope, I noted it correctly, this early morning on a Rover "Auntie", sitting on a trailer, towed by a Sprinter with Polish plates, going eastbound on the Autobahn A2.

Nothing. Tried the other M and N combinations and NMN 397 with no result.

Dear,

We have the regret to inform you that the picture
relative to the plate 111-YYY (0,75 Mb) you
submitted on 21/05/2015 07:17:20 has just been
rejected.

The reason is because we don't publish pictures of
old non-european format. Do you know these plates
can be converted to the new format for almost free
if it was a customized plate in the past? You'll
find more information on http://licenceplate.be in
the information menu. You can review the picture
in attachement. We hope you understand.

Meanwhile, we thank you for helping us building
the best plates site.

:bombe: Germany doesn't have a site like that (stupid government, thinking owner information is mandatory!) but maybe I can program one in a few years...

^^The reason is the new EU plates are completely free to have a personalized combination, compared with that the old plates (3letters-3numbers) are not so exciting anymore.
And by the way, with the usual amount of foresight, the personalized plates can't even be read by speed cameras. They never risk a fine. http://www.gva.be/cnt/dmf20150521_01691698/bestuurders-kunnen-boetes-ontlopen-met-gepersonaliseerde-nummerplaten

This evening, I spotted a 1941 Ford that's for sale. If you know anyone who's interested, talk to these people:

They publish custom plates starting by 9 though, hence why I thought they would accept the 111yyy.

Opel Cascada with custom plate

I didn't even know this model existed
And it does not seem very common, as we do not have any on the site!

... though that it exists also as Vauxhall, Holden and (soon) Buick: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_Cascada

and to make more photos to you (the most cars you have already seen and for the thousands of toy-models (it's the world's biggest Audi-toy-collection and in a few weeks it will be the world's largest model-car-collection, too) I had no time and patience.
So only pics from the visitors parking:

So how big part of German K70's "population" we see on the airfield shot?

Yesterday - quite bad pics taken from city bus.
The old cars are going to place where vintage cars owners like to make small meetings and which is in this area. Some day, If I won't forget as often, I will go there to take better pictures.

The red Toyota Celica A40 Liftback and grey Żuk A09 or A11 in front of it:

Volvo PV, the PV 444 I believe:

There were also early Polonez and MGB (with rubber face) around.

In saturday, in different part of my town, I also saw mint looking silver Peugeot 504 - too mint = too quick to take its picture - rather not diesel.

...

20 cars had been there, so ca. 5% of the assumed survivors worldwide. As there were also Dutch and French cars, you cannot take the "German population" as basis (which would be pointless anyways, as our connections and also the cars paths through their lives are transnational)
