So I was looking through the listings for Dodge Rams and I noticed that many of the van variants are mixed in there. Now I know that many of these have badges that simply read "RAM" on them, but wouldn't it be better to simply label them as "Ram Van"s to avoid confusion or so they can be grouped together apart from the pickups? Or would this be incorrect?

For me it would be better indeed.
But on the other hand, it is like the Lumina APV which was just called Lumina like the sedan at some point.

Unlike the Lumina, I think that the Ram Van was always advertised as such. For Instance on the owners manuals for my 00 B2500 and my 03 B1500 the model is listed as "Ram Van" even though the emblems just said Ram 2500 and Ram 1500

I think tonkatracker has a point with this. In badging, they may have simply said "RAM," but I think that they've always technically been Ram Vans.

Sorry, but you've got Ram pickups and Ram Vans, which are not the same trucks.

It is up to you, if you think that it is not a problem to call "Ram Van" all the Ram vans, no matter if they were just badged Ram or not.
For me it is ok.

It would be better since it seems that in brochures and such, that is what they were called. And as I said, the main point is to avoid confusion.

At the same time I changed the Ram listed as SUV to Pickup.

Note that the batch-update only processed 15 of them, I guess most were already listed as Ram Van.

That's good. I wasn't really sure of how many were only listed as Ram.
