Antp not really a mass change but can you assign the database to automatically make US origin for the Armada?

https://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1824272

Thank you!

But that seems to only apply to the first generation? Or are all the newer ones wrongly listed?

All Armada should be US origin. Designed for NA market.

Only exported to the GCC if I recall correctly. (I believe that is the only market with tags and the trim levels differed in Canada I believe too at some point).

From Wikipedia about the second generation:
This version is based on the Nissan Patrol, the platform also used for the Infiniti QX80, as moving the Armada and Patrol to the same global platform instead of the Armada sharing the platform of the American-built Titan saves considerable development cost.[8] Apart from the Endurance V8 engine, which is assembled in Decherd, Tennessee, the vehicle is built in Japan.

Is it really US origin then?

Ah yes. 2nd gens are all Japan origin. 1st gen is indeed US. We will have to remember and do them manually when they pop up.

CbyC has its own wiki page so there's some recognition for that naming technique. Also on practical terms, we know where we are on CbyC - downgrading to just Chrysler would lose them in a big pit of other Chrysler (no models). Someone who knows them intimately might be able to retrieve them with the model codes - [CH] etc - but to do that you need to start off knowing the codes, which I don't, and suspect very few of us do.

So agree CbyC is a stupid name and it may be a grey area how prominently it was used, but for us I think keeping things as they are works best. If we'd got it wrong, there would have been protests by now, and I don't see any.

About some Suzuki cars...

All the "Simple truck" and "Pick-up" should be Chassis Cab
and all the "Supermini" should be Van/ MPV
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- Every
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- Carry
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- Super+Carry

All the "Off-road / SUV" should be Hatchback, except those after 2021 MY
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- SX4
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- S-Cross

For these are Chassis Cab
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1647213
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1749477
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1575114

For these are Van/ MPV
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1471426
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1465389

For these are Supermini
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- Spacia
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- Palette
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- Wagon+R&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on
(Except Wagon R+ for EU)
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1832295
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1823706
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1803714

And I'm not sure about Solio, does a car with sliding doors make it a MPV?
If yes, then those after 2010 MY are Van/ MPV, and Hatchback before 2011 MY
If no, then all the models are Hatchback
(Supermini isn't a issue here since they're bigger than kei car)
https://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&make=Suzuki&model=- Solio

I noticed that Toyota Tacomas are listed on the site as being both US and Japan in origin. Currently there are 12 pages worth of Tacomas listed as Japan origin, and 23 pages as US origin. This should be fixed.

Which generation?

The first generation was designed in the US, and should be US origin.

Second gen was designed in Japan, but the model was still designed for the North American market, so not sure which origin for those.

Third gen was designed again in the US by the same designer as the first gen. These should be US origin.

All generations - see for yourself, they're all listed as both Japan and US.
